How long can I renew my domain name for?
You can renew your com, .net, .org, .biz, .info and/or .us domain name for an additional 1-9 years, to a total of 10 years, including any remaining period of registration.
For example, on 30 July 2008 if the expiry date for a domain name is 30 October 2008, the remaining valid period of registration is 3 months, which is rounded up to one year. In this case the maximum renewal period is 10 – 1 = 9 years.
.au domain names can only be renewed for a 2 year period
