Glossary of domain transfer terms
Domain Transfer:
Process in which the management access at the registry of your domain name is moved from one registrar to another registrar.
Domain Name Registrar:
A company accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and/or by a national ccTLD authority to register such auDA in Australia.
Domain Registrant:
Domain Licence holder.
Authorization Keys:
Also known as the "Domain Password", "Domain Secret", "Auth Key", "EPP Auth Key", "UDAI", "Registry Key" - these terms all refer to a security key that is used for the sole purpose of transferring domain names between registrars.
